Secretary-Treasurer Vincent F. Tenuto, Jr., and Recording Secretary Ramon Williams visited with Chicago State University member Mike Smith to discuss upcoming contract negotiations for the unit. Mike has been instrumental in helping the Union with previous contract negotiations on behalf of all the members in the bargaining unit.

Vince and Ramon also met with the five newly organized Teamsters Local 700 members at Chicago State University. The Union was able to get another five positions to be Local 700 jobs within the distribution center and mailroom at Chicago State. “We are now meeting with Chicago State to get our new members the wages they deserve,” said Tenuto.
